MOTIVE>

Pedro was one of 13 children born to his prostitute mother. Around the age of eight, Pedro sexually molested one of his sister's, as a punishment for this, his mother kicked him out of the house to live on the streets. Pedro was then himself molested and sodomized against his will at the age of eight by another man in a neighboring town. Years later at the age of eighteen, Pedro was serving time in prison for car theft. While in prison he was gang raped by four older convicts, he killed three of the four attackers. This led to his first murder conviction for which he received a two-year sentence.

In 1980, while living in Ecuador, he claimed to average approximately: three kills a week. He later said he enjoyed killing Ecuadorian girls because they were "more gentle and trusting, more innocent."
